NASDTEC Represents Professional Standards For Education in All 50 States.
MASTER OF EDUCATION IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Below is important information related to licensure agreements and state requirements for licensure.
The Educational Leadership Distance Learning Program is accredited through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). NCATE is the profession’s mechanism to help establish high quality teacher and administrator preparation and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a professional accrediting body for colleges and universities. Many states have reciprocity agreements based on graduation from NCATE-accredited institutions. As such, the Educational Leadership Program does meet licensure requirements in states other than Ohio.
Additionally, the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC) has negotiated licensure reciprocity agreements among states. NASDTEC is the organization that represents professional standards boards and commissions and state departments of education in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, the U.S. Territories, Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario that are responsible for the preparation, licensure, and discipline of educational personnel.
