Yes! Our Educational Leadership Program Carries the Top Accreditations and the Highest Standards Available in the Field of Education.
ACCREDITATIONS
The University of Cincinnati carries institutional accreditation and the Master of Education in Educational Leadership online degree carries programmatic accreditation. The University of Cincinnati is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges (NCA)*, and this regional accrediting body is recognized by both the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the United States Department of Education (USDE).
Regional Accreditation
Regional accreditation is the primary type of institutional accreditation used in the United States. Some institutions with online Master of Education in Educational Leadership programs hold national accreditation rather than regional accreditation because they are unwilling or unable to meet the rigorous standards of regional accreditation. Prospective students must be aware that many educational institutions holding regional accreditation do not recognize credits or degrees earned at institutions that are nationally accredited. Therefore, regional accreditation may be important for transferring from one institution to another partway through a degree program, or pursuing additional degrees at different colleges.
NCATE Accredited Online Program
The online Educational Leadership program is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and meets the rigorous standards for the preparation of administrators approved by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC). With us, you can expect a quality online masters degree in education that will prepare you for future success.
