STEM Course Listings

The online Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) program consists of 30 credit hours and can be completed in as little as 6 semesters/2 years. Each course is approximately 7-weeks long. Students typically take two courses per 14-week semester.

  • CI 7002: Curriculum and Instruction: Theories and Trends (3 credits)
  • CI 7003: Teaching and Learning in Diverse Classrooms (3 credits)
  • CI 7004: The Role of Teachers in a Democratic Society (3 credits)
  • CI 7090: Master’s Project: Curriculum and Instruction (3 credits)

STEM Concentration Courses (15 total hours)

  • CI 6005: Integrating STEM into Practice (3 credits)
  • CI 7032: Science Learning in Laboratory and Inquiry Settings (3 credits)
  • CI 7040: Mathematics as Problem Solving (3 credits)
  • CI 8072: Learning Sciences and Technology (3 credits)
