Laurie Baurer, MEd, Assistant Academic Director, Literacy and Second Language Studies

Laurie BauerLaurie Bauer joined the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services in 2010 as an Assistant Academic Director in the Literacy & Second Language Studies program. Prior to this, Laurie was a Field Service Assistant Professor of Literacy in UC’s Center for Access and Transition. She holds a Masters in Literacy and a certificate in Postsecondary Literacy Instruction from the University of Cincinnati, and is a current doctoral student in Literacy & Second Language Studies at the University of Cincinnati. Currently, she teaches online courses for the Postsecondary Literacy Instruction (PLI) certificate as well as college reading courses.
