I have a question I am already working on my Master’s of arts degree specialization special education through Ashford University online. With teacher certification. Could your college help me get certified if I decide could I tranfer my credits into your program? and take it from there because here in Michigan I need to do student teaching. Please let me know if your college can help or not.

    Thank you,
    Deborah Gibbs

We do have a licensure program that may fit your needs; however, you will need to check with your State Department of Education to see if our program will meet Michigan’s licensure requirements. It is possible that you may be able to transfer in up to 9 credits. The way the transfer process works is you will fill out a Petition to Transfer Credits, syllabi for the classes, and course descriptions, along with your application. When the admissions committee reviews your application they will review the transfer petition to see if those classes are similar enough to ours to be transferred in. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact an Enrollment Advisor at 800-226-0075, we’d be happy to assist you!
