Educational Leadership and Administration

The University of Cincinnati Master of Education in Educational Leadership prepares excellent leaders for excellent schools. The curriculum is based on theory, practice, and policy, and is focused on developing the leadership skills which every student brings to the program. With no required campus visits, the 54-credit degree can be completed in as little as two years. What sets UC apart is their faith in the cohort learning model, dedication to student support, and a wildly successful Principal Clinical Internship. The Educational Leadership program boasts a 100% pass rate on Principal Licensure exams, and Ohio has reciprocity agreements with a majority of states.

A degree in Educational Leadership gives you more options than a subject-specific Master of Education. Graduates can follow either an administrative path or they can enhance their skills within the classroom. Our graduates have gone on to roles as principals and assistant principals, union leaders, department chairs, and school board contributors. Many choose to stay in the classroom and use their newfound skills in communication to help their students reach their full potential. The bottom line is that the Educational Leadership degree is about providing you the flexibility to follow the path that is right for you both right now and in the future.
