Janet Zydney, Assistant Professor, Instructional Design and Technology
Dr. Janet Mannheimer Zydney received her Ph.D. in Educational Communciation and Technology from New York University. Prior to coming to the University of Cincinnati, Dr.Zydney completed her post-doctoral fellowship in special education technology at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Zydney’s primary focus is on how computer-based scaffolding or instructional supports can assist students in scientific and mathematical problem solving. As part of this research, she is developing a software application that will individualize instruction to students based on their learning needs. She has conducted research and published in the areas of technology professional development, technology integration in diverse classroom environments, and the learning sciences.
