Hi Joe, We actually do not offer a certificate in Special Education at this time. We do have an intervention specialist licensure program, however. Both programs are two year programs and you can do one and then the other if you would like. You can choose to pursue the Master’s or the licensure classes first, whichever you prefer. Hi Dave, At this time we do not offer distance learning program that is equivalent to a school counseling degree. Please keep your eyes open in the future, because we are always adding new programs to our distance learning roster. Hello – I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in School Counseling at another University, but would like to know which Master of Education program track would I fall into at UC that is equivalent to the School Counseling degree program?

Hello. I am interested in the Special Ed. program, but would like to know the difference in credits between the certificate and the Master’s. And, if you earned the certificate first, could you then go on and continue to earn your master’s degree in special eduction? Thanks!!!

I find that your courses are very interesting. I am leaning towards a career in Educational leadership and/or Teacher Leader. I currently have 7 years of teaching experience and an undergraduate degree which is non-teaching related. I am interested in your MEd program, but I do not live in the United states. Do I have to be a resident to access your program?
