MASTER OF EDUCATION IN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP
The Educational Leadership program at the University of Cincinnati is a principal licensure program. Graduates of the program become principals in public, private and parochial schools. Other positions held by program graduates include directors, coordinators and various district level positions. Additional requirements for these positions will depend on the requirements of your state's department of education.
Accredited by NCATE*, and aligned with the ISLLC national performance standards, this accredited education degree program can be completed in two years. All students begin the Educational Leadership online degree program with Foundations of Educational Administration I & II, which are offered every quarter, then rotate through the remaining courses, with a Planned Field Experience to be completed during the final four quarters.
Students are also required to assemble an electronic portfolio of their work as a record of their progress throughout the program.
